Publication of Annual Report and Accounts 2022

Following its Preliminary Full-year Results announcement on 25 May 2022, SSE plc confirms that it has today published the following documents on the Company's website at https://www.sse.com/investors/reports-and-results/:

· Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2022.

· Notice of Annual General Meeting 2022.

· Sustainability Report 2022.

· Net Zero Transition Report 2022.

SSE's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Perth Concert Hall, Mill Street, Perth PH1 5HZ on Thursday 21 July 2022 at 12.30pm. For the first time, this will be a combined physical and electronic AGM. Those joining electronically via the online platform will be able to watch the meeting, ask questions, and vote in real time. Details of how to join via the online platform can be found in the Notice of Annual General Meeting and at https://www.sse.com/investors/annual-general-meeting-2022/.

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1, copies of the Annual Report and Accounts, Notice of Annual General Meeting, and Form of Proxy for 2022 have been submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority and will shortly be available for inspection via the National Storage Mechanism, which can be accessed at: https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
