Public Exhibition for proposed Rutland facility
Kedco Plc (AIM:KED), the waste to energy group focusing on the production of clean energy in the UK and Ireland, announces that, as part of the Company's ongoing development pipeline, it is looking to establish an Anaerobic Digestion ("AD") facility in Langham, Rutland. The proposed facility is expected to be developed in partnership with the Larkfleet Group, a privately owned group of development and construction and energy companies.
As part of this process, the Company is holding a Public Exhibition to showcase its plans for the proposed AD facility in Rutland.
The facility is expected to produce up to 1.3 MW of electricity from locally grown agricultural material, enough energy to supply the equivalent of over 2,350 homes.
The Company recently completed a public consultation process in respect of a further two proposed plants for the production of Biomass electricity and heat, also in partnership with the Larkfleet Group, and located in Clay Cross, Derbyshire.
