Proposed Sale of Charles Stanley Financial Solutions Limited

Charles Stanley Group PLC ("Company") included within its announcement made on 15 April 2015 that negotiations were underway in respect of the possible sale of Charles Stanley Financial Solutions Limited ("CSFS"). The Company provides an update in respect of this potential disposal.

The Company announces that it has entered into an exclusive Heads of Terms agreement in respect of the disposal of CSFS to its management team. At this stage no assurance can be given that a disposal will proceed.

The Company will issue a further statement in due course.
