Proposed placing of up to 60,000,000 ordinary shares in Sirius Real Estate Limited by MAS Real Estate Inc.
MAS Real Estate Inc. ("MAS") today announces its intention to sell up to 60 million ordinary shares ("Placing Shares") in Sirius Real Estate Plc ("Sirius" or the "Company") at 49c per Placing Share to institutional investors (the "Placing"). The Placing Shares represent approximately 7.2% of Sirius's entire issued share capital.
Peel Hunt LLP ("Peel Hunt") and Canaccord Genuity Limited ("Canaccord Genuity") are acting as Joint Bookrunners to the Placing in the United Kingdom and Java Capital ("Java Capital") are acting as Sole Bookrunner to the Placing in South Africa.
The Placing will be conducted by means of an accelerated bookbuild secondary placing to institutional investors. The books of the Placing will open with immediate effect. The results of the Placing will be announced as soon as practicable thereafter. The timing of the closing of the books will be at the absolute discretion of the Bookrunners but the books will, in any event, be closed by 12pm on 12th August 2016. The Placing Shares are expected to be sold on a T+5 basis.
