Informa PLC21 March 2007 INFORMA PLC Proposed Acquisition of Investment Scorecard Informa plc, the global information specialist, today announces that InformaInvestment Solutions (IIS), part of the Financial Data Analysis business withinits Professional division, has agreed to acquire Investment Scorecard, Inc. for$50m in cash (subject to a final net working capital adjustment). Theconsideration will be met from Informa's existing debt facilities. Thetransaction is subject to the approval of the shareholders of InvestmentScorecard, Inc. and regulatory approvals. The acquisition is expected to closein April 2007. Investment Scorecard is among the leading US service providers of integratedclient reporting and analytic solutions for the wealth management industry. Itenables financial institutions to analyse and report on the performance ofcomplex investment accounts to clients including trustees and high net worthindividuals. The acquisition will add to IIS's extensive suite of integrated businessintelligence and decision support solutions for investment and wealth managementprofessionals.
