DRILLING TO COMMENCE ON PROMETHEUS PROSPECT WHAM Energy plc is pleased to announce that it has been advised by Centrica plcthat the Ensco 101 jack-up drilling rig is on location and is expected to startdrilling the Prometheus prospect on exploration licence P1132 covering blocks 42/21 and 42/22 of the Southern North Sea. Drilling is expected to takeapproximately 40 days. WHAM Energy has a 20% working interest in the licence and is being carriedthrough the drilling costs by Centrica plc. The well is planned to test a gasprospect in the Permian Leman sands at an approximate depth of 2745 metres.
