Further High Grade Surface Copper & Silver Results at Paguanta
Highlights:
·; High grade copper and silver results returned from surface sampling to the south-west of La Rosa, further enhancing the porphyry prospectivity of the Project
Herencia is pleased to provide an update in relation to its 70% owned Paguanta Project (the "Project"), located in northern Chile.
Results from surface sampling in an area approximately 200 metres south-west of the La Rosa prospect have confirmed high grades of up to 2.6% copper and 202g/t silver.
Importantly, the La Rosa prospect is within close proximity to both the Doris prospect, where copper and silver have been confirmed on surface and in diamond drill holes, and the Patricia zinc-silver-lead-gold Mineral Resource.
The potential of the La Rosa prospect continues to develop with La Rosa displaying the following characteristics:
·; Strong geophysical anomaly
·; Strong argillic alteration (with propylitic alteration towards the borders)
·; High grade copper and silver at surface to the east (at Doris) and now the south-west
·; Copper and silver confirmed in drill holes outside of the system at Doris
·; Presence of high grade zinc-silver-lead veins in distal position to the system (Patricia)
·; Apparent pyritic shell logged in drill core (in two holes drilled at La Rosa).
·; Good structural conditions associated with the Atacama Fault Zone (that controls the major Copper deposits in Chile) and a possible 'pull-apart' zone displaying favorable conditions for the potential emplacement of a porphyry intrusion.
Managing Director Michael Bohm commented "the discovery of additional high grade copper and silver on surface at Paguanta, this time just to the south-west of La Rosa, further enhances the porphyry prospectivity of the Paguanta lease."
