Renewable Energy Generation Ltd09 June 2006 Announcement Renewable Energy Generation Ltd announces commencement of construction on two UKwind projects, with an order of five wind turbines for delivery in 2006. Renewable Energy Generation Ltd ("REG") the AIM listed investor in renewableenergy generation projects, today announces that its UK operating subsidiaryCornwall Light and Power Ltd ("CLP") has commenced work on two of the leadprojects within its UK wind generation portfolio. The projects are: High Sharpley County Durham 2.6MW 2 turbinesHigh Pow Cumbria 3.9MW 3 turbines CLP has signed contracts with Nordex UK Ltd (a subsidiary of Nordex AG ofGermany) for the delivery of the five 1.3MW wind turbines that will be utilisedon the above projects. Delivery of the machines will commence in November thisyear. It is envisaged that the first project at High Sharpley will be incommercial operation from early December, with High Pow following shortlythereafter. Mike Liston, Chairman of REG, stated: "Construction of our UK Wind Projectsportfolio is fundamental to the delivery of returns to REG's shareholders. Theseprojects are in energetic locations and thus, we believe, should be capable ofgenerating clean electricity competitively for at least the next 20 years. Indoing so they will make a positive contribution towards the UK's targets forreducing greenhouse gas emissions".
