Progress made at 19-acre residential development site in Broughton, near Chester
Following on from Development Securities' Appeal for non-determination by Flintshire County Council of their earlier planning application for a residential development in Broughton, the Welsh Government has now written to advise that the Inspector appointed by them to review the Appeal has recommended that outline planning permission be granted subject to certain conditions.
Accordingly, Development Securities has been advised by the Welsh Government that the Welsh Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Housing is 'minded to accept' the Inspector's recommendation subject to some revisions to the Section 106 Unilateral Undertaking and the affordable housing condition.
Development Securities believes that these revisions can be agreed shortly.
