The Board of Epistem is very sad to announce the death this morning of its Chief Scientific Adviser, Professor Chris Potten, at the age of 71. Chris who had retired from executive duties prior the Company's listing in 2007 was co-founder of the Company and led pioneering research at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research over three decades.

The Board has extended its sympathy to the family of Chris on behalf of all the management, staff and shareholders of Epistem.

Matthew Walls, Chief Executive of Epistem, said: "The management team and many others at Epistem have known and worked closely with Chris for years, if not decades. He will be greatly missed."
