KRP Update
ZincOx Resources plc (AIM: ZOX) is pleased to announce the re-commencement of production at its wholly owned Korean Recycling Plant. On 1 April ZincOx announced that it had brought forward replacement work on the inner tubes in two heat exchangers, which had originally been planned for April, to 26 March.
During the 18 day closure repairs to refractory in the flue area of the rotary hearth furnace (RHF) were completed together with the installation of new inner tubes for the remaining two heat exchangers.
An audio-visual presentation has been posted on the website and this illustrates the ramp up of the plant over the past 18 months http://www.zincox.com/investor/Presentations.asp (click to full size for the voiceover).
Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Woollett, ZincOx's Chairman, said "Now that the inner tubes of all four heat exchangers have been renewed, we look forward to an uninterrupted run of production that should enable us to optimise the plant and reach full throughput"
