iShares IV Public Limited Company - Launch of new Sub-fund

Statement regarding launch of new iShares IV plc sub-fund.

The Directors of iShares IV plc announce the launch of the following sub-fund:

iShares MSCI China A UCITS ETF

(the "New Fund")

The Shares are already listed on the Official List of the UKLA. Dealing in the Shares of the New Fund commenced on the main market of the London Stock Exchange today.

iShares IV plc (the "Company") is an open-ended investment company with variable capital and having segregated liability between its funds incorporated with limited liability in Ireland under registration number 472684.

The Company was authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland pursuant to the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 352 of 2011) (the "Regulations") as an Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities ("UCITS") for the purposes of the Regulations on 13 November 2009, to offer pooled investment. The Company is structured as an umbrella fund in that the share capital of the Company may be divided into different classes of shares with one or more classes representing a separate sub fund of the Company. Each sub fund may have more than one share class.

Certain terms in this announcement are defined in the prospectus supplements for the New Fund and/or the prospectus for iShares IV plc.

Copies of the prospectus supplement for the New Fund has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism (NSM) and will shortly be available for inspection at www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do and www.ishares.com.
