The Onbidder service isa software download that enhances a user's prospects of being successful duringeBay auctions. The Directors of Z Group believe that the key problems a bidder faces when usingeBay are the inconvenience of auction deadlines and the existence of biddingwars which can often mean that bidders spend more money than they would like.Onbidder is aimed at solving these problems. The software helps a bidder to 'win' an auction at the best possible price byusing an automated "precision bidding" process. Onbidder waits until the finalseconds of the auction to place its bid. By doing this, the bidder gets the itemat the lowest price possible up to a limit specified by the bidder and, asOnbidder works automatically, they do not have to be waiting in front of theircomputer until the auction is about to close. Onbidder also allows the bidder to monitor multiple items at the same time.When there are several auctions selling the same type of item, the user cansimply set up multiple bids each defining the maximum bid. As soon as one ofthem wins, Onbidder will automatically cancel all the other relevant bids. Onbidder will be initially marketed to the Z Group existing customer base and ZGroup will also aim to convert a percentage of eBay's 157 million worldwideusers. Onbidder will be made available as an internet download fromwww.onbidder.com at £19.99 for a 12 month subscription.
