Inditherm PLC04 January 2007 Press Release 4 January 2007 Inditherm plc ("Inditherm" or "The Company") Inditherm Awarded Process Heating Contract Inditherm plc (AIM: IDM), the provider of innovative heating solutions to thefood, industrial process, utility, medical, construction and sport industries, has been awarded a contract worth £155,000 for the supply of process heating toa well-known confectionary manufacturer in the UK. The project involves the supply and installation of process heating for two 22cubic metre storage vessels and 85 metres of process pipework. The system isrequired to heat a sweetener material that must be maintained at a constanttemperature in order to ensure it remains liquid under all weather conditions. The customer had specified Inditherm in preference to traditional electricaltrace heating, because of the significant benefits provided by their heatingtechnology. These include uniform heating, improved temperature control, hygiene and significantly lower energy consumption. Another innovative feature of the installation is the modular, 'plug & play'pipework system. The modular concept enables sections of pipe to bemanufactured off-site and then installed much more rapidly than existingpractices. The contract follows the successful completion of another project for the samecustomer at one of their plants in central Europe. This was completed ahead ofschedule, enabling the plant to start production earlier than planned. Commenting on the contract, Inditherm's CEO, Richard Harpum said, "This will bethe third contract we have installed for this customer and is a solidendorsement of our heating technology. It also helps to underpin our growthtargets for 2007." - Ends - For further information contact: Inditherm plcRichard Harpum, CEO +44 (0) 1709 [email protected] www.inditherm.comIan Smith, Finance Director +44 (0) 1709 [email protected] Heath / Louise Thornhill +44 (0) 113 203 [email protected] www.abchurch-group.com Notes to editors: Inditherm plc is an AIM-listed provider of low voltage, cost-effective heatingtechnology.
