25 September 2008
Cape Lambert Iron Ore Limited
Proceedings Resolved
As previously advised, on Friday, 19 September 2008, the Supreme Court of Western Australia granted an interim injunction restraining Cape Lambert Iron Ore Limited from declaring its agreement with African Minerals Limited ("African Minerals") (AIM: AMI) to acquire a stake in the highly prospective Marampa Iron Ore Project in Sierra Leone (Marampa Project) unconditional, issuing shares to complete the acquisition or entering into any other agreement with African Minerals. On Tuesday, 23 September 2008, the Court extended that injunction and reserved its decision as to a final injunction and was expected to deliver its decision before the end of this week.
As a result of extensive discussions between Power United Limited and the Company, the parties have resolved the proceedings by consent with the interim injunction being discharged and with each party bearing their own costs of the proceedings.
