Origo Sino-India PLC20 November 2007 Origo Sino-India Plc announces private-equity natural resource fund Origo Sino-India Plc ("Origo") (LSE: OSI), the investment and strategic advisorycompany focused on the private equity markets of China and India, announced inOctober 2007 that it was actively considering a range of finance strategies,including the possibility of providing consultancy services to a fund, whichwould enable it to progress its strong deal flow in the natural resource area. Origo continues to make progress in material deal flow and related financestrategies. It has a well developed pipeline of pre-identified investmentopportunities, including letters of interest in respect of 11 potentialinvestments in natural resources with a potential commitment value ofapproximately US$ 137 million. Origo is pleased to announce that it is nowactively engaged in raising at least US$ 100 million for a proposed fundinvesting in private equity natural resources opportunities in China and India. The fund will be the first fund to appoint Origo as its consultant. Advisers tothe fundraising have been appointed and further details will be provided at theappropriate time.
