The ceremony marks the official opening of the project and represents a majormilestone for the Company, its partners and the local community, following 5years of preparatory work at Munali. The implementation of the Munali Nickel Project is now being accelerated, with afocus on the following key areas of activity: • Finalisation of loan agreements with the senior lenders to provide bank finance for the project. • Development of the underground decline access following successful completion of the boxcut. • Site preparation for initial earthworks for the Munali concentrator. • Placing orders for additional items of equipment for the concentrator. • Recruitment of additional key personnel to implement the project.
