Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, A.S.13 February 2007 Press Release Bratislava 13 February 2007 Since 28 February O2 offers a calling plan Narovinu - for 8, 50 SKK per minuteto anybody and anywhere. Telefonica O2 Slovakia offers to its customers unlimited calling with itscalling plan O2 Narovinu for 8, 50 SKK per minute to anybody, anywhere and toany networks. From 28 February, the customers of prepaid services will be ableto make phone calls to all telephone networks in Slovakia on any day and at anytime for the same price. "The launch of this calling plan is yet another offer by Telefonica O2 Slovakiathat the customers will find not only beneficial but also transparent, simpleand fair," as stated by Alberto Pamias, the executive director of marketing. Similarly to O2 Jednotky, the costs of an SMS message will be 3, 20 SKK, an MMSmessage will be 9 SKK and data services GPRS will be 29 SKK per MB. Theactivation of GPRS and services CLIP and CLIR will be free of charge. Onecomponent of the offer is phone calls to the Czech Republic for the same chargeas phone calls in Slovakia - 8, 50 SKK per minute. A common denominator of alloffered services is a flat rate on any day and in any hour for phone calls toanyone. All prices include the VAT and are per minute of a phone call with aper-second charge. Telefonica O2 Slovakia introduces to the Slovak market rechargeable vouchers inthe value of 250, 350, 550 and 950 SKK. The validity of credit for the first twovariants is 3 months and for other 6 months. The expiration time of the creditwill be automatically extended when the customer recharges the credit. In casethe customer has some remaining part of a credit with a three-month expirationtime and recharges the vouched with a new six-month credit the whole credit willbe valid for six months. Moreover, with the first credit recharge until 31 March, each customer will geta double value of his credit. After the first recharge, the customers will makephone calls from 4, 25 SKK per minute and send text messages for 1, 60 SKK. Thevalue of the first recharge is arbitrary, the customers will get the doublecredit value also for recharging the 950 SKK voucher. The total value of theobtained credit can be as much as 1900 SKK. On 28 February Telefonica O2 Slovakia will open its first store in Slovakia. Itwill be located in Bratislava on Obchodna street No. 2. The company is alsopreparing internet sales. As Zuzana Oezniekova, the executive director of sales,said "Recharging vouchers for Telefonica O2 Slovakia customers are already soldin a broad network of more than 2 thousand sales points all over Slovakia. Thecustomers can buy them for instance in COOP Jednota, BILLA, at gas stations OMV,Shell, Slovnaft and Jet, in selected newsstands, specialized stores with mobiletechnologies and other places." Each day, the company dispatches and activates several dozens ofthousands of SIM cards. This demanding logistical process will be finalized,according to the plan, by the end of February. Due to a high demand, the timeframe for activation of SIM cards for pre O2 Jednotky was extended until the endof March 2007.
