LADBROKES PLC

Ladbrokes plc draws investors' attention to three announcements issued at 7am this morning regarding:

· A proposed recommended merger of Ladbrokes plc and the Coral Group(1) to create a leading European betting and gaming group;

· Its revised stand-alone, organic strategy to grow Ladbrokes' recreational customer base and build scale; and

· A proposed share placing of c.9.99% of its issued share capital.

Presentation

Ladbrokes PLC and Gala Coral will host a presentation for analysts and investors at 8.30am today at UBS Ground Floor Conference Centre, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PP.
