Pre-close trading update
The Board of The Davis Service Group Plc (''the group'') issues the following statement before entering its pre-close period and prior to its preliminary results announcement, which is expected to be issued on 25 February 2011.
The trading conditions set out in our Interim Management Statement dated 2 November 2010 remain unchanged. On 3 December 2010 the Group announced the disposal of Björnkläder AB, its Swedish direct sales business for £28.5 million, which is expected to be received before 31 December 2010.
The Group has continued to deliver against its priorities for this year of further improving its operational efficiency, delivering a strong free cash flow, which is benefiting interest, and maintaining a robust balance sheet. The Board is confident of delivering on its expectations.
