Eckoh Technologies PLC03 October 2005 For Immediate Release 3 October 2005 ECKOH TECHNOLOGIES PLC Pre-Close Trading Update for the six months ended 30 September 2005 Eckoh Technologies plc, (the "Company") is pleased to issue a trading updateprior to the end of the six month period ended 30 September 2005. During the period, the Company instigated a strategic review of its operations.To date, this has resulted in the separate listing of Symphony Telecom Holdingsplc, a previously wholly owned subsidiary, raising £4.51m before expenses whilstretaining a 64.64% holding and the disposal of Freecom.net Limited toeDirectory.co.uk plc for up to £3.2m of shares in the acquiring company. Profits in the first half have been satisfactory and are in line with theDirectors expectations. The Directors are aware of the recent decline in theshare price and believe that the current share price significantly undervaluesthe Company. Recent commercial successes including the renewal of the BT and TDWaterhouse contracts, the speech enabled "Journey Finder" product being awarded"Product of the Year" at the 2005 European Call Centre Awards, and ongoingdiscussions with a number of potential new clients enable the Directors tocontinue to be confident in the Company's future prospects. The strategic reviewwill continue with the aim of reversing the trend in the share price, andunlocking value for shareholders.
