Pre-close trading update

Tarsus Group plc (LSE: TRS, 'the Group', 'Tarsus'), the international business-to-business media group, today provides a pre-close update.

Trading for the first six months of the year has been in line with Board expectations. Forward bookings for the year to 31 December 2013 are tracking 11% ahead of last year (as adjusted for biennial events and acquisitions) and we expect an excellent outcome for 2013.

Since 17 May 2013 there has been one event held by the Group in Turkey. REW, the recycling, environment and waste event was held in Istanbul in June 2013. The event's revenue was ahead of last year's edition and was in line with management expectations.

Revenue is heavily weighted towards the second half of the year owing to the timing of the Group's large exhibitions.

Sales for the Group's two biggest events, The Dubai Airshow (including bookings received at last week's Paris Airshow) and Labelexpo Europe continue to be well ahead of their previous cycle.

The Group expects to publish its interim results for the six months ending 30 June 2013 on 31 July 2013.
