Work Group plc05 January 2007 5 January 2007 Work Group plc ("Work" or the "Group") Pre-close Trading Update and announcement of Maiden Dividend Work, the AIM-listed recruitment services group, announces a trading updatebefore entering its close period ahead of the release on 6 March 2007 of itspreliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2006: Trading throughout 2006 was strong and we expect our full year results to becomfortably in line with expectations. As a result of the strong trading performance and sound cash position, the Boardannounces its intention to declare a maiden dividend for the full year of 0.4pper share at the time of the preliminary results.
