Fenner PLC07 September 2007 7 September 2007 Fenner PLC Pre-Close Statement Fenner, the global engineer specialising in reinforced polymer technology, todayprovides an update prior to entering into the close period for the Company'sresults for the year ended 31 August 2007. We anticipate reporting results for the year ended 31st August 2007 in line withthe top end of our expectations. The recovery in the North American Conveyor Belt market has occurred in thesecond half as expected with healthy demand across all sectors, whilst thestrength of the Asia Pacific businesses has continued. Advanced Engineered Products has performed well with the Seals business showingparticular strength. The expansion projects in Conveyor Belting and Seals will come on stream during2008 and are expected to boost the results for the 2008/9 financial year.
