This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.10(B) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on TheStock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the "Company") announces that, based on the Company'spreliminary statistics, as of 31 March 2014, total power generation of the Company and its subsidiaries (the"Group") amounted to 44.3638 billion kWh, representing a decrease of approximately 0.72% when compared to thecorresponding period of the previous year. Total on-grid power generation of the Group amounted to 41.8194billion kWh, representing a decrease of approximately 0.81% when compared to the corresponding period of theprevious year. The Group's power generation of thermal power generation units increased by approximately 0.30% when comparedwith the corresponding period of the previous year which is attributable to the installation of the new powergeneration units and the reduction in maintenance time of generation units in the first quarter of 2014. TheGroup's power generation of hydro-electric power generation units decreased by approximately 24.73% whencompared with the corresponding period of the previous year as a result of the decrease in inflowing water inthe area where the generation units situated. Since the capacity of the Group's wind power generation units wereenhanced, power generation of the Group's wind power generation units increased by approximately 12.58% whencompared with the corresponding period of the previous year. 1. The status of the power generation project approved In the first quarter of 2014, one wind power project and one hydropower capacity increment project in the total capacity of 110MW, of the Company was approved, details as follow: Wind power project: Ningxia Hongsibao Wind Power 100MW; Hydropower capacity increment project: Chongqing Haokuo Hydropower capacity increment of 10MW.
