Postponement of General Meeting

5 December 2013 TANGIERS PETROLEUM LIMITED Postponement of General Meeting In accordance with rule 9.1 of its constitution, the Board of TangiersPetroleum Limited (Tangiers) has resolved to cancel the general meetingscheduled for 11 December 2013 and reschedule the meeting in early 2014. In light of the recent announcement of Tangiers' proposed takeover bid forJacka Resources Limited, and the proximity to the last time for lodgment ofproxies for the general meeting at 10am on Monday 9 December 2013, thedirectors of Tangiers believe that shareholders should be given more time toconsider all information relating to the takeover bid.
