Postponement of 2019 FY results and AGM

ASA International Group plc to postpone reporting 2019 full year results and Annual General Meeting

Amsterdam, 16 April 2020 - ASA International Group plc (the "Company"), one of the world's largest international microfinance institutions, confirms today that it intends to postpone the release of its 2019 full year results. This decision follows the recent guidance from the FCA and FRC, on 26 March 2020, allowing listed companies to delay the publication of their audited annual financial reports from the end of the financial year by a further 2 months until the end of June 2020.

The publication of the Company's 2019 full year results was scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, 21 April 2020 and the Annual General Meeting on 1 June 2020. However, in light of the FCA and FRC's guidance, the Company and its auditor are taking the necessary time to prepare appropriate and accurate disclosures regarding post balance sheet COVID-19 impact on the business.

Further updates will be given in due course as to the timing of the publication of the 2019 full year results, the 2019 annual report and AGM.
