Posting of shareholder circular
Further to the announcement by the Company on 24 February 2010, the Board of Alternative Networks plc ("Alternative Networks" or the "Company") announces that a circular has today been posted to Shareholders setting out details of the Alternative Networks plc 2010 Value Creation Plan ("VCP"), a subscription of new ordinary shares by the EBT and a proposed general buy back authority. The circular also contains a notice of a general meeting of the Company to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 29 March 2010 to consider the resolutions necessary to implement the VCP in full and to approve the general buy back authority, including the proposed waiver of the requirements of Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
