Nighthawk, the US focused shale oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY), is today posting a Shareholder Circular in connection with the Settlement Agreement with Running Foxes Petroleum, Inc. ("RFP") and proposed purchase of 102,236,422 Ordinary Shares from RFP, as previously announced by the Company yesterday, 9 October 2012.

The Shareholder Circular also contains a Notice of General Meeting ("GM") to be held at FTI Consulting Limited, Holborn Gate, 26 Southampton Buildings, London WC2A 1PB on Friday 26 October 2012 at 11.00 a.m.
