Posting of Circular

Further to the announcement made on 31 May 2012, the Company confirms that the circular in relation to the disposal of Hammersmith Apollo Limited (the "Disposal") has been posted to shareholders giving notice that a General Meeting will be held at the offices of Simmons & Simmons LLP, Citypoint, One Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9SS on 10 July 2012 at 9 a.m. to seek shareholder approval for the Disposal.

Copies of the circular, including the Notice of the General Meeting, are available from the Company's website at www.hmvgroup.com.

A copy of the circular has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
