Posting of Annual Report and Notice of AGM

Universe Group plc (AIM:UNG.L), a leading developer and supplier of retail management solutions, payment and loyalty systems, is pleased to announce that its Annual Report and Accounts for the period ended 31 December 2019 and the Notice of the 2020 Annual General Meeting are now available on the Company's website www.universeplc.com/investor-relations/. Copies of the Annual Report and Accounts and the Notice of AGM have been posted to shareholders who have elected to receive them in paper form.

The AGM has been convened for 11.00 am on 30 June 2020 and will be held at the offices of HTEC Limited at George Curl Way, Southampton, SO18 2RX.

The Board values very highly the opportunity to meet shareholders in person at the AGM and regrets that in the current circumstances of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, this is not expected to be possible or advisable. The business at the AGM, which will be run as a closed meeting, will be curtailed to the formal business only, with no wider presentations on business performance or Q&A.

Shareholders are strongly urged to appoint the chairman of the meeting as their proxy as attendance in person is not advised and members and their proxies will be refused entry if circumstances require.
