Posting of Annual Report and AGM Notice

Aberdeen Private Equity Fund Limited (the "Company") announces that its Annual General Meeting will be held at 1.30 p.m. on 13 September 2010 at its Registered Office, Canada Court, Upland Road, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 3QE.

In connection with this, copies of the following documents, which have been posted to shareholders today, have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority:

·; Audited Annual Financial Report for the year ended 31 March 2010, which includes the Notice of the 2010 Annual General Meeting

·; Proxy form for the 2010 Annual General Meeting
