Caspian Holdings plc08 January 2007 8 January 2007 Caspian Holdings Plc ("Caspian" or "the Company") Positive levels of oil flow at well 121 Caspian Holdings Plc (AIM: CSH), the oil and gas production and explorationCompany in Kazakhstan, is pleased to report commercial flows of oil atapproximately 35 barrels a day from its recently drilled well 121 during thesecond half of December 2006. Following the successful testing of well 121, the Company will focus onincreasing production and profitability from its existing wells prior tocommencing its next drilling programme mid year. Production for the quarter ending 31 December 2006 was 11,630 barrels.Production was adversely affected during the quarter as a result of workovers ofa number of previously productive wells including well 103.
