Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan. The Company, its subsidiaries and entities in which it has a beneficial interest are referred to collectively as the "Fund".
On 31 May 2013, the Fund portfolio occupancy rate was 94.8%, decreasing 0.3% from that of the same date one year prior. The seasonal trend of employee relocation caused lease terminations of the properties.
Average occupancy for the first six months of the current financial year increased from 95.2% to 95.8% over the same period one year prior. Average occupancy for the 12 months ended 31 May 2013 increased to 95.5% from 94.7% for the 12 months ended 31 May 2012.
