Portfolio Occupancy
Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan. The Company, its subsidiaries and entities in which it has a beneficial interest are referred to collectively as "the Fund".
The Fund portfolio occupancy rate was 95.6% as at 31 January 2011, up from 89.9% on the same date one year prior. Average occupancy for the year ending 31 January 2011 has increased to 93.3% from 91.6% for the year ending 31 January 2010. Average occupancy for the six months ending 31 January 2011 increased to 94.9% from 91.2% for the same period one year prior. Fund occupancy has continued to improve with January 2011 being the fourth consecutive month where occupancy exceeded 95%.
