Portfolio Occupancy
Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan. The Company, its subsidiaries and entities in which it has a beneficial interest are referred to collectively as "the Fund".
The Fund portfolio occupancy rate was 95.9% as at 28 February 2011, up from 90.9% on the same date one year prior. Average occupancy for the first three months of the current financial year increased from 90.4% to 95.6% over the same period one year prior. Average occupancy for the six months ending 28 February 2011 increased to 95.3% from 90.9% for the same period one year prior. Average occupancy for the year ending 28 February 2011 has increased to 93.7% from 91.4% for the year ending 28 February 2010. Fund occupancy has continued to improve with February 2011 being the fifth consecutive month in which occupancy exceeded 95%.
