PLUS Markets Secures Further Regulatory Status
PMG is pleased to confirm that following Royal Assent to the Finance Act 2007 today, its new market offering for fully listed securities (known as the PLUS-listed market) has been designated by HM Revenue & Customs as a Recognised Stock Exchange. This follows this morning's announcement that PLUS Markets plc has been approved as a Recognised Investment Exchange.
Recognised Stock Exchange status ensures that securities listed on the new market will benefit from ISA and PEP eligibility. In addition, certain tax efficient vehicles, such as REITs and Investment Trusts, will be able to meet their statutory listing obligations through admission to the PLUS-listed market.
