Planning approved at Kensington Church Street

 

 

U+I (LSE:UAI), the specialist regeneration developer and investor, announces that at the Call In Hearing on 18 September 2018, the Mayor of London approved its joint venture residential scheme with Brockton Capital in the Royal Borough of Kensington.

 

When complete the new scheme will deliver 55 new homes, including 35% affordable, a medical surgery, office and retail space, helping address a shortfall in the borough. There will also be step-free access to the underground station making it more accessible for all travellers.

 

Matthew Weiner, Chief Executive of U+I, commented: 

"We, alongside our joint venture partner Brockton Capital, are pleased with this decision which will contribute much needed affordable housing in the borough, as well as a more accessible station."
