Stem Cell Sciences plc15 August 2005 Stem Cell Sciences plc (the "Company") Additional Shares to be Admitted to AIM On 12 August 2005 the Company issued 411,094 Shares to Collins Stewart Limited. The 411,094 Shares were issued in satisfaction of a corporate finance fee andcommission due to Collins Stewart Limited by the Company of an aggregate of£398,762 at the price of £0.97 per share pursuant to the terms of the PlacingAgreement. The 411,094 Shares rank pari passu in all respects with the Shares alreadyadmitted to trading and will be admitted to trading on 18 August 2005. Substantial Shareholdings The Company received notification on 15 August 2005 from Collins Stewart Limitedpursuant to s198 of the Companies Act 1985 of its interest in Ordinary Shares of£0.50 (the "Shares") in the capital of the Company. The notification referred to the allotment of 411,094 Shares to Collins StewartLimited.
