Galliford Try PLC22 December 2005 GALLIFORD TRY ACHIEVES FINANCIAL CLOSE ON £192M EDUCATION PFI IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, today announced ithas achieved financial close on a £192 million PFI project for construction workat 41 schools in Northamptonshire. The project is the largest education PFIscheme in the UK to date with construction to be carried out over three years. The scheme is an integral part of Northamptonshire County Council's transitionto a new two tier educational system, with new build projects amounting to 80 per cent of the workload, the remainder being the upgrading of existing facilities.
