Peru Block Z-34 - Satellite Oil Seep Study Confirmed

In Baron's Annual Report issued last month the Company made reference to a Satellite Oil Seep Study (the "Study Programme") to be carried out on the Company's offshore Peru Block Z-34 acreage. Baron is pleased to confirm that Union Oil & Gas have agreed to the Study Programme, which will be carried out later this year by a research team from the University of Paris - Est Marne la Valee.

Results from the Study Programme will be reported to shareholders in due course.
