Man Group plc17 January 2008 This notification relates to transactions to be notified in accordance with DTR3.1.4R(1)(a) On 16th January 2008 the following share transactions were completed by PERSONSDISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS. Man Group plc wasinformed of the transactions on that date. John Morrison sold to a counterparty his entire holding of 1,018,908 B shares ofUS$ 1.40 each at a price of £0.709887 per B share before dealing costs. Thesenon-listed B shares were issued on 26th November 2007 in connection with theReturn of Cash to shareholders approved at an EGM held on 23rd November 2007. Following the above transaction John Morrison's deemed interest in Man Group plcordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents continues to be a total of 999,389 shares,representing approximately 0.06% of the Company's issued share capital. Christoph Moller sold to a counterparty his entire holding of 6,605,634 B sharesof US$ 1.40 each at a price of £0.709887 per B share before dealing costs. Thesenon-listed B shares were issued on 26th November 2007 in connection with theReturn of Cash to shareholders approved at an EGM held on 23rd November 2007.
