The Restaurant Group plc ('the Company') announces that on 23 March 2010 Alan Jackson, Chairman, exercised 150,000 share options at an exercise price 134.4p. Subsequently he sold 150,000 shares at 230p per share. Mr Jackson continues to hold 400,191 shares, representing 0.2% of the issued share capital.

On the same day, Trish Corzine exercised 100,000 share options at 97.7p and 90,000 share options at 134.4p. Ms Corzine subsequently sold 190,000 shares at 230p per share. Ms Corzine continues to hold 255,497 shares, representing 0.13% of the issued share capital.
