AMEC PLC20 November 2007 AMEC plc November 20, 2007 AMEC appoints new Chief Operating Officer, Power and Process division AMEC plc, the international engineering and project management company,announces that Didier Pfleger is to join on 1 December 2007 as Chief OperatingOfficer, Power and Process. He will be appointed to the Management Committee. Mr. Pfleger joins from ABB's Robotics division where he was Head of BusinessUnit Systems. Much of his earlier career was in Alstom, where he progressedrapidly through a number of operational roles in Alstom Energy and Alstom Power. "Mr. Pfleger is hugely experienced in the energy, power and process industries,having worked on large, difficult, yet successful turnkey projects in a numberof geographies over the last 15 years," said Samir Brikho, Chief Executive ofAMEC plc.
