Galiform PLC03 September 2007 Galiform Plc PAYMENT TO MEP GROUP Under the terms of its agreement with MEP Mayflower Limited ("MEP") dated 22September 2006 in relation to the disposal of the MFI retail business (the"Agreement"), Galiform plc ("Galiform") agreed that the Galiform group wouldmake a £53.1 million payment to the MEP group on 3 September 2007. Galiform announces that the Galiform group has today made this payment inaccordance with the terms of the Agreement. Under the terms of the Agreement, a further payment of up to £12.0m is scheduledto be paid by the Galiform group to the MEP group on 2 April 2008.
