Frontier Silicon's Patrick Hannon elected President of WorldDMB

Toumaz Limited (AIM: TMZ, 'Toumaz', or 'the Group'), a pioneer in low-power wireless semiconductor and software technologies, announces that Patrick Hannon, VP of Corporate Development at Frontier Silicon has been elected President of WorldDMB for 2013-15.

WorldDMB is the global industry forum for digital radio, promoting the adoption and implementation of broadcast digital radio, based on the DAB family of standards, across Europe, Asia Pacific and other regions. 

Patrick, who has over twenty years' experience working in strategy and digital media, was elected by a committee of international peers representing 80 organisations from 23 countries - from all elements of the digital radio ecosystem, including technology providers, policy makers, regulators, broadcasters, device manufacturers and automotive OEMs.

The President of WorldDMB is a figurehead for the digital radio industry, helping to shape strategy for the association and acting as an advocate for digital radio in a range of external forums. Patrick's role will be to guide WorldDMB members and policy makers at a pivotal time for digital radio as international adoption rates and Digital Switch Over gather pace.
