Timestrip Plc ("Timestrip" or "the Company")
Patent Clarification
The Board notes that Temptime Corporation, a US-based company, has filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey naming Timestrip Plc.
The complaint alleges that the Company's recently developed, patent pending accidental freeze monitoring device - known as iStrip, infringes United States Patent 7,343,872. The Company has taken legal advice on this issue and believes that it has no liability and that this complaint will not have a material effect on its business.
In addition, this complaint does not relate in any way to the Company's core range of Timestrip smart labels which is based on a different technology and has been successfully patented in many countries worldwide.
Shareholders will be updated on further developments if appropriate.
