Partnership with Honeywell Home by Resideo

LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF", "Lightwave" or the "Company"), the leading smart home solutions provider, is pleased to announce a partnership with Honeywell Home by Resideo.

The Lightwave-Resideo Partnership, which will be for an initial term of 18 months, has been formalised after several months of discussions and exploration. Recently demerged from Honeywell International Inc, Resideo Technologies Inc, which specialises in security, heating and detection products, uses the Honeywell Home brand under an exclusive licence.

Lightwave and Resideo, which have both adopted the same 863.0 MHz radio frequency for device communications, have agreed to share their proprietary radio protocols to integrate existing technologies and to jointly develop new technologies. This will allow the Lightwave Link Plus control hub to host the Honeywell Home by Resideo control protocols.

The partnership also envisages, initially in the UK and Europe, the co-operative marketing and selling of product ranges through existing Lightwave and Resideo channels as well as further development of the joint offering, initially to housebuilders and energy companies.
