Galliford Try PLC14 August 2007 GALLIFORD TRY ACHIEVES FINANCIAL CLOSE FOR £100 MILLION SOUTH EAST ESSEX LIFT Galliford Try plc, the construction and house building group, today announcedthat, as part of the gbprimarycare Ltd consortium with Assura Property, it hasachieved financial close on a 25 year framework partnering agreement forconstruction services with South East Essex LIFT. The first tranche of the long term framework is estimated to be worth £26million with the potential to fund and develop up to £100 million of health andsocial care facilities across the South East Essex region. The first project isan £8.3 million state-of-the-art primary care centre on Canvey Island which isdue to become operational in November 2008. Galliford Try is now delivering five LIFT schemes across the country from theSouth East to the North West of England.
