The Nexperia processor incorporates PowerVR MBX graphics IP fromImagination Technologies, which was licensed by Philips Semiconductors throughARM in March 2004. Philips has also announced that Sony Ericsson has selected the PNX4008 forfuture Symbian OS phone products. The PNX4008 is based on an ARM9(R) processor accelerated by dedicated, tightlyintegrated engines providing high-end multimedia functions for excellent powerconsumption and overall system performance. It provides sophisticated video,graphics, imaging, audio and security functions for feature-rich mobilehandsets. The device delivers extreme gaming using an advanced PowerVR MBX 3Dgraphics engine from Imagination Technologies.
